Name that Schlock – An Absurd Community-Driven Gameshow
FRIDAY AT 6:30 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
A fun, community-driven gameshow is headed to Cactus Club this Friday. Name that Schlock follows three contestants as they pitch their most outlandish consumer product for a panel of judges. The improv gameshow started as a community art project by Neil Horsky and has traveled around the US. The show is open to all ages and tickets are $25 each including fees.
Black Arts Fest MKE 2026
SATURDAY FROM NOON-10 P.M. | HENRY MAIER FESTIVAL PARK
The Black Arts Fest MKE is returning to the summerfest grounds for another day of Black culture, African heritage and more. This year’s festival is focused on unity and community with special performances. Throughout the day there will be a celebration of Black fraternities and sororities, a car show, poetry, Chess ‘n the Park and more. General admission starts at $30 and can be purchased online.
10th Annual Wisconsin IPA Fest 2026
SATURDAY FROM 2-6 P.M. | THIRD SPACE BREWING
Enjoy unlimited samples of hundreds of beers from around Wisconsin at this year’s Wisconsin IPA Fest. The best of the best from around the state will compete for the coveted first place award while guests cast their votes for the People’s Choice award. Beyond great beer, local food trucks will be providing great food throughout the day. A full list of featured breweries and food trucks is available online. General Admission tickets are $55 each and come with a tasting glass and unlimited beer sampling. For designated drivers, a discounted ticket is available and comes with access to a small selection of nonalcoholic beverages at the main bar.

The Havenwoods Summer Sounds Concert Series

Havenwoods Taproom and Beer Garden summer concert series returns this week with Mighty Ms. Erica and Sound Production taking the stage. Erica grew up in a family of musicians and regularly experienced live music, with her father’s love for blues and soul inspiring her music. This concert is free to attend and open to all ages.
Full Moon Rising Beach Yoga
THURSDAY AT 8:15 P.M. | BRADFORD BEACH
Join Cathy from Outdoor Yoga and Megan from Somewhere on the Mat and watch the full moon rise over Bradford Beach. The class will begin on the north side of the beach with a gentle drum ceremony before a serene walking meditation and yoga class. Moon bathers are welcome to swim after the class. Participants must bring their own mat to class and warmer clothes are recommended, the class is $20 per person.
Paperback Book Sale

The Cudahy Family Library is celebrating National Paperback Day with a huge paperback book sale. The collection will include trade and mass market paperbacks, a selection of board games, puzzles and other media and collectibles. The sale is free to attend and open to everyone.

Celebrate the local arts scene at the fourth annual NICE COLD Art Market at Humboldt Park. This year, over 70 local artists, food trucks and more are coming together for this free, family friendly market. Dogs are welcome too!
5K Beer Run x Perspective Brewing
SATURDAY AT 11 A.M. | PERSPECTIVE BREWING CO
Run for beer during this weekend’s 5K Fun Run to Perspective Brewing Company. The 5K starts and ends at the West Allis taproom and all participants receive a craft brew, choice of collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag and a chance to win great prizes at the finish line. The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series mission is to “be active, have fun and give back,” so a portion of the proceeds from the event will support local nonprofits. Registration is open online.
3rd Annual International Blues Day

Join the folks at the Cudahy Family Library for an afternoon of blues music, good food and fun activities. Five local blues performers will take the stage throughout the afternoon and concessions will be sold by the VFW Post 2895. This event is free to attend and open to all ages.
America’s 250th Classic Car Show

Celebrate America’s legacy in car manufacturing at the first ever America’s 250th Car Show. Classic cruisers, hot rods, muscle cars and classic vintage cars will be on display in Drexel Town Square. Live music and food will complete the event making it a great day for the whole family. Admission to the car show is free.
Wisconsin Vintage Fest
SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-5 P.M. | HARLEY-DAVIDSON MUSEUM
Wisconsin’s premier vintage festival is back at the Harley-Davidson Museum. At the market you will find 70+ hand picked vendors offering clothing, accessories, home goods, records, Y2K finds and more. Admission to the festival is free and open to all ages.
Venus Presents: Bikini Bottoms
SUNDAY FROM 1-7 P.M. | THE COOPERAGE MILWAUKEE
Venus Presents returns to Milwaukee with their infamous annual queer summer darty, Bikini Bottoms. This year, five music artists will perform, DJs will be indoor and outdoor at the Cooperage, vendors are selling their wares and a tiki bar is serving cold drinks. Tickets are available online starting at $15 early bird, $20 presale and $25 day off. This event is 21+.
