1. Milwaukee Boat Show

FRIDAY AT NOON | WISCONSIN STATE FAIR PARK EXPOSITION CENTER

It’s opening weekend for Wisconsin’s largest boating exposition. There are multiple attractions to visit including the antique and classic boat display and the biggest and best. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children. 

2. KARMA Class: Almost Home Cat Rescue 

FRIDAY FROM 5:45-6:45 P.M. | 2534 SOUTH KINNICKINNIC AVE  

If you’re feeling low on good karma, Healium Yoga + HIIT is doing a fundraiser yoga class for the Almost Home Cat Rescue. This class is completely donations based, so participants can choose to give as much as they’d like. 100% of the proceeds will be going to the cat rescue. 3. Milwaukee Admirals vs. Texas Stars

FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA 

The Milwaukee Admirals hockey team will be playing the Texas Stars at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena this weekend. Tickets are available starting at $21. 

4. Gallery Night MKE

FRIDAY FROM 5-9 P.M. AND SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4 P.M. | HISTORIC THIRD WARD 

It’s the first Gallery Night of the year! If you’re a fan of supporting local artists, consider making your way to the Historic Third Ward to meet new artists and venture into local businesses.. This quarterly event is free. 

5. Ian Bagg 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | THE MILWAUKEE IMPROV 

Ian Bagg, a world-touring comedian, will be in Milwaukee this weekend. If “wildly funny” and “boundary-pushing” are your thing, general admissions tickets are $22 and on sale now. This show is 21+. 

6. Other Desert Cities 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT 7:30 P.M. AND SUNDAY AT 2 P.M. | SUNSET PLAYHOUSE

As part of its After Sunset Studio series, Sunset Playhouse is putting on Other Desert Cities by Jon Robin Baitz this weekend only. The story follows Brooke Wyeth, who returns home after a six-year absence to announce that she is publishing a book about her family’s tragic history. Tickets are $15 when purchased at the box office window. This show is intended for mature audiences only. 

7. Onesie Bar Crawl 

SATURDAY FROM 4 P.M.-12 A.M. | BROTHERS BAR & GRILL 

The annual Onesie Bar Crawl is happening this Saturday. Purchase a $5 ticket and get three drinks included. Check in is four to six p.m. at Brother’s Bar & Grill, and the crawl spans across eight bars. There is also an after party happening at the last bar stop featuring a special guest DJ. Don’t forget your PJ’s and a safe way home. 

8. “Metalcore Dropouts” Tour

SATURDAY 20 AT 7 P.M. | THE RAVE

Fit For A Kind and The Devil Wears Prada are stopping by Milwaukee on the winter leg of their “Metalcore Dropouts” tour. The show is all ages and general admission. Tickets are available night-of at the box office or online. 

9. Steve Hackman’s Beethoven x Coldplay 

SATURDAY AT 7:30 P.M. | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER

For one day only, Steve Hackman is conducting “a merging of musical giants” at the Bradley Symphony Center. If you’re a classical music fan, Coldplay fan or both, find tickets, valet parking and dinner options on their website. 

10. Monster Jam

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | FISERV FORUM 

Monster Jam’s motorsport experience will be at the Fiserv Forum this weekend, bringing all the adrenaline. Attendees can see the trucks, meet the crew and attend activities before watching the race. Tickets start at $20, and the event is all ages. 

11. Friends of the Cudahy Family Library Book Sale

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM NOON-4 P.M. | CUDAHY FAMILY LIBRARY 

Maybe it’s time to check off some of the books on your “want to read” list. The Cudahy Family Library is offering discounted prices on books, movies, music, and more. Cash, check, and card will be accepted.  

12. Big Chill 5K and 10K

SUNDAY AT 9 A.M. | GRANT PARK 

It’s Big Chill weekend in Milwaukee. As part of Race Day Events Winter Run Series, participants can sign up for the 5k or the 10K. Dogs, kids, and strollers are all allowed and runners can sign up for their spot on the website.Updates and cancellations will be located on their website as well. Stay warm! 

13. Hot Wing Trivia

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-4:30 P.M. | LAKEFRONT BREWERY BEER HALL

Lakefront Brewery is gearing up to celebrate National hot sauce day. They are featuring five of their award-winning beers, each paired with one of five wing sauces. The entertainment for the night is participating in rapid-fire trivia while eating Scorville Lava wings. You can reserve your spot at their website. 

14. Milwaukee Wave vs. Dallas Sidekicks

SUNDAY AT 1:05 P.M. | UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA

It’s a home game for the Milwaukee Wave soccer team. Located at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, tickets are available starting at $19.
