1. CANstruction Milwaukee
ALL WEEKEND | MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MUSEUM
This weekend is your last chance to view CANstruction Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Visit the Steigleder Special Exhibits Gallery on the second floor between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday to see 12 colorful and creative sculptures, each made of at least 1,000 canned and non-perishable food items. Each work was designed and built by Milwaukee leaders in architecture, engineering and construction.
2. Family Animal Tracking Hike
FRIDAY FROM 4:30-6:30 P.M. | URBAN ECOLOGY CENTER – MENOMONEE VALLEY
Hike the flat and rolling terrains of Three Bridges Park on Friday afternoon to learn movement techniques and safety tips for all of your Wisconsin winters to follow. Hikers will be provided with gear and sized for snowshoes, upon arrival. Registration fees vary by choice of $5 or $8.

3. Pop-Up Dinner at Kinn Guesthouse

4. Catapult’s Magic Shadows

5. Jimmy Dore

YouTube sensation and award-winning comedian Jimmy Dore is at Turner Hall Ballroom for one night only. The comedian’s new material seeks to bridge political divides and bring Americans together, no matter one’s party affiliation.
6. Alice in Wonderland
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | RACINE THEATRE GUILD
Watch students from Union Grove High School’s Performing Arts Department perform Alice in Wonderland at the Racine Theatre Guild. Tickets are $7 to journey along on the classic storyline.
7. Mozart Oboe & Symphony
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Principal Oboe Katherine Young Steele is taking center stage at the Bradley Symphony Center on Friday and Saturday evening. Hear her sound Mozart’s Oboe Concerto, after Music Director Ken-David Masur opens the celebration with the “Haffner” Symphony.
8. Winterfest
SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-2 P.M. | URBAN ECOLOGY CENTER – WASHINGTON PARK
The Urban Ecology Center is hosting its annual Winterfest celebration at Washington Park. Registration is not required, so just stop by to speed down the sledding hill or warm up with loved ones and community members by the fire.
9. Mitten Fest 2024
SATURDAY FROM NOON-8 P.M. | 818 S. WATER ST.
Mitten Fest is back – this year with a temporary venue change. It will be at Boone & Crocket. Fill your day with a stacked cast of local musicians, while you sip on wintry cocktails and beer from Central Waters Brewery and Founders Brewing. There will also be warm food from a variety of vendors, and a marketplace to browse. This event benefits the Hunger Task Force – cash and credit card donations will be accepted on-site.
10. Love is Brewing at the Pabst Mansion
SATURDAY AT 5 P.M. | 2000 W. WISCONSIN AVE.
Immerse yourself in each room of the historic Pabst Mansion during the Love is Brewing tour. This is the first of three Saturdays to see a hearts-and-flowers look beneath the cream-colored brick facade. Learn the stories of Pabst family love and weddings, dating back to the Gilded Age. Champagne for sipping and chocolate for nibbling will be provided. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for students, seniors and military.
11. The Cash Box Kings

Blues band The Cash Box Kings will be playing at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. on Saturday evening. Pay $15 in advance or $20 at the door to hear the men who have topped the Billboard Blues and Living Blues Radio Charts.

With the collaboration of costuming, high-tech backdrops and a grand East-West orchestra, this performance highlights art of classical Chinese dance to take viewers back to a culture that once was.

Shop 80 local makers at Walkers Point Makers Market. This event is free to attend, but drinks are available for purchase at route stops like Indeed Brewing Company, The Laughing Tap, MobCraft Beer and others.

Learn how to organize and preserve your media with Pixologie’s Mollie Bartelt. This class is free for members of Jewish Museum Milwaukee, and nonmembers can register for $10.
