Summerfest’s first weekend kicks off on Thursday. Take advantage of one of these deals to get in free!

Summerfest is kicking into high gear with its first weekend starting on Thursday, June 18. The festival will run from June 18-20, June 25-27 and July 2-4. Looking for a way to get in without paying full price? Look no further – here are 13 promotions to get into Summerfest at a lower cost.

1. Summerfeast at Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market and Mariano’s

EVERY WEEKEND

Bring your receipts showing $25 minimum purchases made between May 20-June 9 of participating products at Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market or Mariano’s stores to earn two free Summerfest general admission tickets. 2. Download the Summerfest App

JUNE 18-20, 12-4 P.M.

The first 15,000 people to download the Summerfest mobile app will have the opportunity to claim one free digital admission ticket. These tickets are valid any time before 4 p.m. during Summerfest’s opening weekend.

3. Stomp Out Hunger Day

THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 12-3 P.M.

Bring three shelf-stable food items for donation with you to the gates and receive one free admission ticket valid during the three-hour promotion window only. All of these donations will go towards benefiting Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

4. Show Your College Pride Day

THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 12-3 P.M.

Stop by the Mid Gate Promotions Booth wearing a hat or shirt representing a participating college or university (Carroll University, Marquette University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater) or show a valid high school ID, and you’ll receive one free admission ticket valid during the time of the promotion. Plus, all high school students that begin their FAFSA application before July 4 will receive a free general admission Summerfest ticket through the Milwaukee Education Partnership. 5. Northcott Neighborhood House Food Drive

FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 12-3 P.M.

The first 2,500 patrons to arrive during the promotion time with three shelf-stable food items for donation will receive one free admission ticket valid only during the time of the promotion. These donations will only be accepted at the mid gate. All donations will go towards the Northcott Neighborhood House. 

6. Diaper & Wipe Drive

SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 12-3 P.M.

The first 1,500 patrons to arrive from 12-3 p.m. with new unopened wipes and diapers (with a total minimum value of $10) will receive one free admission ticket valid during the time of the promotion. All donations will go towards United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s Diaper Bank network.

7. Throwback Thursday

THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 12-6 P.M.

Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market and Mariano’s are offering four free Summerfest tickets during the time of promotion to each patron that brings receipts to the gates showing a $50 transaction from any of these businesses between April 22-May 12. Additionally, admission will be $5 and select beverages will be 50% off during the promotion time.

8. H.O.G. Member Day

THURSDAY JUNE 25, 12-3 P.M.

Bring your valid H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) card to the gates to receive one free admission ticket valid during the time of promotion. 

9. Children’s Fest Day

FRIDAY, JUNE 26, 12-3 P.M.

Admission to Summerfest is free for everyone during the promotion time. There will be activities for families as well as discounts on select food and beverage items.

10. Military and First Responder Day

SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 12-6 P.M.

All active-duty military and veterans, police, fire, and EMT who arrive during the promotion time and present a valid military ID, copy or photo of a DD-214 form, driver’s license with Veteran classification, law enforcement or fire-department agency-issued credential, or police or fire union ID cards paired with a photo ID will receive free admission along with up to four other family members.

11. ‘Make a Child Smile’ Day

SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 12-3 P.M.

The first 2,500 patrons who bring gently used or new children’s books (with a total minimum value of $10) for donation will receive one free admission ticket valid during the promotion time. Picture books and books easy to read for children under ten are preferred. All donations will be collected at the Mid Gate Promotions Booth to be donated to Next Door. 

12. Fan Appreciation Day

FRIDAY, JULY 3, 12-3 P.M.

All patrons arriving from 12-3 will be admitted for free. Additionally, the first 30,000 patrons arriving during the promotion time will receive an admission ticket for next year’s Summerfest as well as an entry ticket in the “big win” drawing taking place at the same time.

13. Freedom on the Fourth Food Drive

SATURDAY, JULY 4, 12-3 P.M.

The first 5,000 people to arrive  during the time of promotion with three nonperishable food items for donation will receive one free admission ticket valid during the time of promotion. All donations will be gathered at the Mid Gate entrance, with canned fruits and vegetables being particularly valued. All donations will go towards the Hunger Task Force.
