1. Elf in Concert

Celebrate 20 years of the classic holiday film about Buddy the Elf’s journey to New York City with live musical accompaniment from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

2. The Mousetrap

ALL WEEKEND | NEXT ACT THEATER

In this seasonal whodunit by Agatha Christie, enter snowy Monkswell Manor and see if you can solve the mystery along with the show. As with many murder mysteries, prepare for a twist ending.

3. Perfectly Imperfect Holiday Market

FRIDAY FROM 10 A.M-4 P.M. | BROOKFIELD CONFERENCE CENTER

Get started on your holiday shopping by browsing over 120 vendors at this market hosted by Perfectly Imperfect 4 You, a business specializing in handmade wood signs.

4. Bayshore Holiday Entertainment

FRIDAY FROM NOON-2 P.M. | BAYSHORE MALL ROTUNDA

As part of Bayshore’s season-long holiday celebration, enjoy a steel drum performance of calpyso and jazz from Caribbean Eclipse. 

5. Oh What Fun It Is To Run 5K

FRIDAY FROM 4:30-9:30 P.M. | CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL OF LIGHTS, CALEDONIA

At this festive, light-filled 5K race, participants will receive free apple cider and a glow necklace to become part of the dazzling display. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local children.

6. The Pfister Hotel’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

FRIDAY FROM 5-6:30 P.M. | THE PFISTER HOTEL

The hotel continues its tradition of lighting the lobby tree with warm beverages and holiday treats. The hotel bar Blue will also serve festive cocktails, and the hotel will collect non-perishable food items for the Hunger Task Force. 

7. Holiday Shop, Stroll and Parade

FRIDAY AT 6 P.M. | SILVER SPRING DRIVE 

Watch this annual holiday parade with Santa and his reindeer, live entertainment, children’s activities and a grand tree lighting. There will also be Black Friday deals at the shops along the street before and after the parade.

8. Garrett Waite Trio – Explorations

FRIDAY FROM 8-10:30 P.M. | BAR CENTRO

Enjoy the melodic stylings of guitarist Garrett Waite, drummer Hannah Johnson and bassist Tim Ipsen. This local trio takes elements of rock, blues, folk and world music and infuses them with the improvisational nature of jazz. 

9. Gimme Gimme Disco

FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. | X-RAY ARCADE, CUDAHY

This DJ dance party will spin disco hits from the ’70s and ’80s. Think ABBA dance party with a sprinkle of Donna Summers and Bee Gees. Disco attire is encouraged! 

10. HYFIN Blackity Black Holiday Market

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. | TURNER HALL BALLROOM

The second annual market from HYFIN features over 40 vendors, as well as live performances, photos with Santa, free local food and a resource bank offering services from local organizations.

11. 414 Flea

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-5 P.M. AND SUNDAY FROM 12-5 P.M. | THE IVY HOUSE

This second annual market will include art, craft, vintage clothing and other wares from across the Midwest to browse on Small Business Saturday and the day after. There will be food trucks outside, and the Ivy House will have a full bar.

12. Sad Boy Saturday

SATURDAY FROM 9 P.M-2 A.M. | MIRAMAR THEATRE

Does the holiday have you feeling emo? Head to this East Side venue for an emo party featuring 2000s pop-punk favorites.
