12 Things to Do in Milwaukee Thanksgiving Weekend: Nov. 26-28

It’s a holiday weekend and there are tons of local events so you can make the most of it.

1. Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

MULTIPLE SHOWTIMES | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER

The MSO will be performing songs from Return of the Jedi. The orchestra will be performing the songs live-to-film, so you’ll be able to visualize the scenes as the songs play.

2. A Charlie Brown Christmas

MULTIPLE SHOWTIMES | MARCUS CENTER’S TODD WEHR THEATER

A Charlie Brown Christmas is a true holiday classic and the show kicked off at First Stage last weekend. We all know and love the story, many of us even implement it into our holiday traditions. Why not switch it up and see it live? The show runs for 60 minutes and has no intermission, making it a perfect event to bring the kids to.

3. Holiday Show at Mitchell Park Domes

ALL WEEKEND | MITCHELL PARK DOMES

If you’re looking to escape the brisk winter cold, stop by the domes and view their holiday show this season. The domes will be adorned with hundreds of seasonal flowers and plants. Admission to the holiday show is included with regular admission to the Domes.

4. Black Friday Beer Events

ALL DAY FRIDAY | MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

Black Friday is a big beer holiday here in Milwaukee. There are at least 30 major events this year, and we created a guide for you to checkout. We highly recommend stopping by Lakefront Brewery for a pint (or two), considering they are the brewery that brought this beloved tradition to Milwaukee.
