Black Friday is a huge day for local breweries and limited beer releases and we put together an extensive list of those in our Black Friday Beer Guide. But there’s plenty more happening around Milwaukee around the Thanksgiving holiday.
Wednesday, Nov. 26
Cheers to Faklandia Brewpub (3807 S. Packard Ave., St. Francis) for hosting the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway. From 4 to 8 p.m. Faklandia will be handing out pre-packaged Thanksgiving dinners to anyone who needs one.
Friday, Nov. 28
Magellan’s on Main (370 W. Main St., Waukesha) is tapping six barrel-aged stouts for Black Friday. The list includes Central Waters Black Gold, Central Waters Milwaukee Two, Goose Island Bourbon County, Goose Island Bourbon County Cherries Jubilee, Brooklyn Brewery Black Ops, and Dogfish Head Triple Decadence World Wide Stout.
Battle of the Birds is happening at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield). They’re tapping four Goose Island Bourbon County Stout variants at 11 a.m. For $25 you can get a flight of all four—2024 Bourbon County Stout, 2025 Bourbon County Stout, 2025 Bourbon County Cherries Jubilee Stout, and 2025 Bourbon County Chocolate Praline Stout.
Black Friday doesn’t just mean a big beer release day at 3 Sheeps Brewing (1837 North Ave., Sheboygan) it also marks the start of a two-day Holiday Market. Vendors will be there 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
Draft & Vessel (4417 N. Oakland Ave.) opens at noon and they’re tapping a Bell’s Brewery 40th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Expedition Stout.
Try Belgian ales from Brasserie d’Achouffe at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 29
Experience the malty deliciousness of “poked” beer at Indeed Brewing (530 S. Second St.) during Beer Brûlée. From 4 to 7 p.m. they’ll be using a red-hot poker to caramelize beer.
Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) is the post-run spot after the Riverwest Can Run & Walk. One dollar from every beer sold supports food security.
There’s a Small Business Saturday Makers Market happening at Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) from noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 30
Burn off some holiday calories at Ope’n Up Yoga at Ope! Brewing (6751 W. National Ave., West Allis) from 10 to 11 a.m. The $20 cost includes an hour of yoga and a beverage.
Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) also has a yoga session happening. Stretch & Sip Yoga runs from 11 a.m. to noon. It also costs $20 and includes a post-workout beverage.

Saturday, Dec. 6: Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) celebrates four years of great beer with a birthday party and some special beer releases.
