1. Found Footage Festival
FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. | THE BACK ROOM @ COLECTIVO
The Found Footage Festival is a guided tour of vintage VHS tapes. The festival uncovers and shares where the people in the tapes are now. The show was started by Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher, childhood friends from comedy writing backgrounds, who collected their first videotape in 1991. The tour is coming to Milwaukee this Friday. 2. Winter Soulstice
FRIDAY AT 9 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
The Winter Soulstice concert showcases artists from the Milwaukee Hip Hop scene, including rappers Von Alexander and Vicious Van Flow and R&B singer Micah Emrich. Tickets are available to purchase online.

4. Winterfest at Purple Door

Purple Door Ice Cream is hosting a wintry event featuring seasonal drinks, crafts and gingerbread houses created by MATC students. Featured treats include the Ice Cream Joe (an affogato with Anodyne coffee), hot cocoa floats, Polar Paradise Sundaes and more.
5. Holidays on the Hop

It’s the last weekend to immerse yourself in the holiday cheer on Milwaukee’s iconic streetcar. Sarah Fierek, a local Wisconsin artist, will be on the Hop this Saturday, as she performs live holiday music from her own catalogue. The Hop is free to ride, and there will be cookies!

7. Brewery Story Hour

Supermoon Beer Co. is hosting a book reading for kids with Librarian Lauren, a wholesome time for the whole family where kids can enjoy a holiday story parents can enjoy tasty Saison Bay View-Mosas (beer mimosas). There will be also be bagels and coffee from Ruby’s Bagels.
8. Family Gathering Series: Mental Wellness During the Holiday Blues

Rooted MKE is bringing in a panel of mental health experts on how to celebrate the holidays despite the emotions that may arise for some during this time of year. The monthly Family Gathering Series features an author each month, and this month’s is local Ebony Lewis, author of Dear Black Boy: It’s Okay to Cry. Register for the panel online.
9. Danielle Harms: Tabi Po Poetry Series

The Tabi Po Poetry Series this Saturday features poet Danielle Harms, a Wisconsin native whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Baltimore Review and Salon. She will read some of her poetry at the event, and there will also be an open mic, if you want to join in on the fun.
10. Chanukah Festival & Gelt Drop
