Downtown Racine’s Craft Beer Week takes place all week. Take advantage of beer tastings and specials at Racine establishments. Racine Brewing Company (303 Main St.) leads the way with a full slate of beer releases, classes and giveaways.
Make a last-minute reservation at the The Fermentorium Beer Dinner. It comes to the Stilt House (W62 N630 Washington Ave., Cedarburg) at 6:30 p.m. Call 262-618-4889 to make a reservation.
Preorder Mystic Knot Barrel-Aged Irish-Style Coffee Stout from Third Space Brewing. The fantastic stout, along with three variants, will be available for pickup on March 13 and 14.
Friday, Feb. 26
Gathering Place Brewing is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m. When you purchase a four-pack you get a tasting glass and entered into a raffle to win a free festival box for the upcoming Lager and Friends Festival on March 20.
1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) is releasing RAB, an extra special bitter ale. Presale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pickup is 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Saturday, Feb. 27
Racine Brewing Company celebrates its third anniversary with a party that includes live music and limited beer releases. The highlight is Maslow, a Russian imperial stout that has been aged in two different bourbon barrels and blended together.
Ray’s Wine & Spirits is moving Wückfinter, its annual winter festival, virtual. Join from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn how to make the official Wückfinter cocktail, learn from 3 Floyds about the Wückfinter Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Stout, and more. As of early this week there were a few Wückfinter Kits available to enjoy the festivities with.
Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) has two beer releases this weekend starting at noon. Preorder starts on Wednesday at 5 p.m. for This is Not a Sandwich, an Italian-style pilsner, and This is All We Know DDH Imperial IPA.
Sunday, Feb. 28
Mike Mendoza from 18th Street Brewery will be at Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) for the latest installment of the Brewery Series. The $25 ticket includes entry to the socially distanced events and a guided tasting.
