Milwaukee is celebrating Women’s History Month with events across the city, from campus exhibits to tastings, dance parties and library programs. Here’s a roundup of ways to honor and support women’s stories, leadership and impact all month long.

1. UW-Milwaukee’s “Our Stories Display”

MARCH 10, 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. | UWM STUDENT UNION, 2200 E. KENWOOD BLVD.

UW-Milwaukee’s Military and Veteran’s Resource Center hosts a visual display honoring the lived experiences, courage, and resilience of women veterans. Learn more here

2. The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin: “A Legacy of Leadership”

MARCH 11, 11:30 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. | WOMAN’S CLUB OF WISCONSIN, 813 E. KILBOURN AVE.

3. Women in the Field’s Annual Women’s Month Dinner & Dance Party

Celebrate Women’s History Month with food from 20+ women-owned food businesses, vibrant DJ sets, and a marketplace of local women creators. 5. Drop-In Tours At Milwaukee Art Museum

EVERY SATURDAY AT 2:00 P.M. | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM, 700 N. ART MUSEUM DR.

The Milwaukee Art Museum will be hosting drop-in tours every Saturday spotlighting the art from female artists in the Museum’s collection that will showcase the powerful stories and their lasting impact on art history. Learn more here.

6. Women of the Pabst Mansion Tour

EVERY SUNDAY IN MARCH | PABST MANSION, 2000 W WISCONSIN AVE

The famous Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee will be hosting a tour that celebrates the history of women involved with the mansion. Every Sunday this month, the tour will be held to dive into the lives of the women of the Pabst family, the servants of the family, and more late-19th century history. 7. Milwaukee Public Library’s Women’s History Programs

VARIOUS LOCATIONS & TIMES

Throughout March, the Milwaukee Public Library is hosting a month-long series of exhibits, art workshops and book discussions celebrating women’s history, creativity and civic impact. Events include art workshops inspired by artists like Georgia O’Keeffe and Yayoi Kusama, book club discussions, hands-on children’s activities and the “We Stand on Their Shoulders” exhibit exploring Wisconsin women’s role in voting and political leadership. 8. Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective Events

VARIOUS DATES & TIMES | ACROSS MILWAUKEE AREA

In the spirit of Women’s History Month, gatherings and tastings featuring women in the beer and spirits world will take place throughout March as part of the Women’s Beer & Spirits Collective series. These events highlight brews, cideries and spirits led by female professionals while supporting charities that benefit women and girls. Highlights include a “Buzzed Spelling Bee” at Sugar Maple to kick off the month, the release of Loud As Helles at New Barons Brewing honoring women in craft beer and music bingo with raffle prizes at Walker’s Pint
