3 New Things Coming to Milwaukee May 2024

Milwaukee-native Jaida Essence Hall is the new host of an HBO show! Plus, two more new things coming this month.

1. The Brides of High Hill

A lavish royal wedding morphs into a menacing mystery in the latest entry of acclaimed Milwaukee author Nghi Vo’s fantasy series, “Singing Hills Cycle.” The novella is out May 7.

2. ‘We’re Here’ Season 4

In this Emmy Award-winning show, drag queens stage performances across small-town America. Newly hosting is “Drag Race” winner and Milwaukee resident Jaida Essence Hall. New episodes air Fridays on HBO and stream on Max.

3. Milwaukee Boot Co. Men’s Sneakers

This local company is branching out from the namesake shoe with its first line of men’s sneakers and loafers, made with the brand’s signature hand-crafted leather.
