Milwaukee Irish Dance Studio is getting ready for Nō Studios Dance Fest later this month.
“The fact that we have the opportunity to do it again, knowing how much this means to the community, and of course the dancers,” performer and instructor Amanda Krasowski says. “This is not a traditional Irish dance outlet for performance, and so we feel very privileged to be a part of it. The prospect that we can be a part of a community that’s way bigger than us is very cool.”
The studio is bringing a fusion number, which features Irish dance movements with modern flair.
Nō Studios is bringing Dance Fest back to Milwaukee on Saturday, June 24 at Bayshore Mall. New York City’s Joyce Theater is helping put on the event, which will bring together Milwaukee-area dance companies for a combined performance.
