For over 60 years Tri City National Bank has been Milwaukee’s hometown lender. The experts on the bank’s mortgage team work across 26 branches in Southeastern Wisconsin, assisting homebuyers and borrowers through the lending process.

Lenders at Tri City form long-term relationships with their clients and often serve multiple generations. The bank’s local roots guarantee an understanding of each individual municipality, market conditions in the area, and the real estate agents its clients are working with. Nick Bandoch, chief brand officer at Tri City National Bank, says Tri City aims to take the fear and anxiety out of the decision-making process.

“As a new borrower, you want to work with an advisor who can give you thoughtful guidance – whether that’s deciding between a fixed-rate or variable-rate mortgage or determining if you might be eligible for a grant,” says Bandoch. “I think knowing the local market and all of the mortgage options makes us that trusted advisor.”

Buying a home in today’s economic climate can be more intimidating than ever. Through decades of experience, the mortgage team at Tri City understands how to navigate the market, even when it feels unstable.

“We’re not incentivized to close any loans or to make a sale today,” Bandoch says. “For us, it’s about doing what’s best for the customer. Our goal is to understand where they are, what they can afford, and give them the options and knowledge they need to make the best choice.”

Clients work directly with a lender to guide them through the process, ensuring transparent and consistent communication from start to finish. “We have the hometown service of a community bank, while still offering the technology of larger banks,” Bandoch says.

Tri City also hosts homebuying seminars throughout the year, lending its expertise to first-time buyers. “If we can get home ownership up, especially in some of the challenged communities and neighborhoods in Southeastern Wisconsin, it could be a positive force,” Bandoch says. “Owning a home can be a great generational wealth builder.”
