Two live storytelling events, a couple rummage sales, live music events and more are coming up.

1. Milwaukee Metal Fest

ALL WEEKEND | THE RAVE / EAGLES CLUB

Milwaukee’s loudest musical festival features a packed line-up of metal bands, special sets for a celebration of the genre’s legacy and behind-the-scenes chats with some of the bands. They’ll also have food trucks and drinks to keep you going all night long. Get tickets online.

2. Ex Fabula All Stars: If I’m Being Honest

FRIDAY FROM 7-9 P.M. | THE COOPERAGE

See the community members voted “Audience Favorites” at Ex Fabula this Friday. They’ll be telling new, 10-minute stories about honesty (or dishonesty)! Special guest tellers will be performing, too. At the end of the night, the audience gets to vote for a season 16 “Audience Favorite!” Advance general admission tickets are available online.

3. The Moth: Only in Milwaukee

FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. | ANODYNE COFFEE ROASTING CO. 

More storytelling! Sit back and listen, or tell your own five-minute tale of what makes Milwaukee, Milwaukee. Share secret histories, local mysteries or something that could only ever happen here. Tickets for this event are $17.50 and are available online.

4. World Migratory Bird Celebration

SATURDAY FROM 7:30-9 A.M. | FOREST EXPLORATION CENTER

The early bird gets the worm! The Forest Exploration Center is hosting a guided birding experience in honor of World Migratory Bird Day. The center provides 67 acres of critical habitat to over 150 observed bird species throughout the year. See black and white warblers, brown creepers or maybe a great horned owl.

5. Community Creatives

SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-2 P.M. | OUTPOST CO-OP

Outpost Co-Op is hosting its second Community Creatives this weekend. The pop-ups will be at all four Outpost locations, featuring local artists, vendors and more for community members to explore. 

6. Punk Rock Rummage Sale

SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-3 P.M. | X-RAY ARCADE

Shop oddities, treasures and tchotchkes at the Punk Rock Rummage Sale. They’ll have music, along with drink and food specials all day. Show up early from 11 a.m. to noon for a $2 cover and beat the crowd, otherwise, this all-ages event is free.

7. Ice Cold Plant & Rummage

SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-5 P.M. | BAD MOON SALOON

Even more rummaging! Spruce up your home just in time for spring at this plant and rummage sale in support of Milwaukee artists.

8. A Decade of Clay: 10th Anniversary Party

SATURDAY FROM NOON-6 P.M. | CREAM CITY CLAY

Celebrate Cream City Clay’s 10th anniversary at this all-ages carnival-style event. It’ll have a smash booth, wheel throwing, clay face paint, games and pottery firing in their Raku kiln. Fuel up with food from Al Pastor Mexican Restaurant and drinks from Perspective Brewing. Proceeds from this event support scholarships for their classes and renovations in their space.

9. MKE Music Night

SATURDAY FROM 6 P.M.-1 A.M. | BREMEN CAFÉ

Catch music from five local Milwaukee artists all night long this Saturday. See the lineup here.

10. Bingo Loco

SATURDAY AT 6 P.M. and 10 P.M. | TURNER HALL BALLROOM

Test your luck at this gameshow-inspired party. It’ll feature comedian hosts, DJs playing the hottest tracks of the last few decades, confetti showers, dance-offs, lip sync battles and prizes, of course. This event is for ages 21 and up. There’s an early and a late show. Tickets are available online now.

11. Wine & Yoga

SUNDAY FROM 10-11 A.M. | PIZZA MAN TOSA

Start your Sunday morning off right with a relaxing 60-minute yoga session and a glass of wine at Pizza Man Tosa with Soul Collective. Roll out your mat, relax and sip! Get tickets online.

12. Let it Flow Some Mo: Milwaukee Period Parties

SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-2 P.M. | ANODYNE COFFEE ROASTING CO. 

Get some coffee, buy some jewelry from Kismet and eat some lunch from Café Corazon at the fourth annual Period Party. There will also be art, story sharing, kit packing and raffles throughout the party! This event is raising funds and taking menstrual product donations for Milwaukee Diaper Mission.

13. Bay View Bash Bloody Bingo Fundraiser

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-3 P.M. | THE SUGAR MAPLE

It’s a popular weekend for bingo. Raise funds for this year’s Bay View Bash at this bingo event hosted at The Sugar Maple. This 21 and up event features prizes from local favorites and delicious Bloody Marys. It’s first-come first first-served, and it’s cash only for the bingo cards.

14. The Annual Cactus Club Plant Sale by Hazelwood Farm
