1. Wisconsin State Fair
ALL WEEKEND | STATE FAIR PARK
Head over to the State Fair Park in West Allis this weekend to help close out the final days of the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair. Tickets to Friday’s Darius Rucker and Saturday’s Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Bank Five Nine Main Stage are on sale here. 2. Bronzeville Week

Bronzeville Week, an annual celebration of African-American roots planted in Milwaukee during the early 1900s and 1960s, holds three more days of events this weekend. 3. Morning Glory Art Fair

4. Milwaukee Milkmen vs. Kane County Cougars

5. Desi Banks

Catch the comedian praised by Kevin Hart as “the next great talent,” during the Milwaukee weekend of his “The Elevation Tour.” Desi Banks is an actor, comic and podcaster who some may recognize from his appearances in Super Bowl commercials and films like One of Them Days, starring Keke Palmer and SZA. Banks has five showtimes across Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Improv. You can grab tickets here.
6. Brewers vs. Mets

Watch the Brew Crew take on the New York Mets this weekend. Friday also marks the Brewers’ annual Cerveceros Night, and all fans in attendance are encouraged to join the Crew for a celebration, including live music, curated retail opportunities and more. Find tickets to all three games here.
7. Volcanic Wine Tasting

Ever wonder how the vines that grow in lava flow and ash affect the taste of the wine they’re producing? Well, whether you have or not, this tasting at Waterford Wine & Spirits will give you the answer. 8. Artist Talk: Erin Shirreff

Her collection of works, “Erin Shirreff: Permanent Drafts,” has been on exhibition since late May. Now, she’s on-site to delve into her boundary-crossing studio practice that blends photography, sculpture and video. All artist talks are included with museum admission and are free for members.
9. National Lighthouse Day: Sunset Tower Climb

In honor of National Lighthouse Day, the Wind Point Lighthouse in Racine is hosting a Sunset Tower Climb. The tour will start at 7:15 p.m., climbing to the 8:04 p.m. sunset. Tickets are available online.
10. Cat Video Fest

Okay, cat lovers. The annual, family-friendly Cat Video Fest is back! The compilation reel of cat videos culled from hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos and internet powerhouses encourages community in support of local cats in need. Ten percent of ticket sales will be donated to Second Hand Purrs.

Two-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and musician Billy Strings will be performing at the Fiserv Forum on Friday night. His latest full-length studio album, “Highway Prayers,” was the first bluegrass album in 22 years to be the top seller across all genres, according to Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales Chart. 12. Clay Fulton & The Lost Forty

Clay Fulton & The Lost Forty are taking the stage at Anodyne for a night of gritty Americana, folk-infused melodies and raw lyricism. Pay $12 in advance or $15 at the 6:30 p.m. door to hear this Rochester rock band tell all that is life, love and loss.
13. Full Moon Beach Yoga

The 18th Annual Waukesha Rotary BluesFest, presented by the Waukesha Rotary Club, is returning for two days at Naga-Waukee Park in Delafield. This summer’s headliners are Detroit rock n’ roll singer Mitch Ryder and New Orleans-style barrelhouse pianist and singer Marcia Ball. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and music will play from 1-10 p.m.
15. Summer Sizzler

Get up and out to the annual Summer Sizzler on Saturday morning. Events include a one mile, 5K, 10K and 15K run. There’s a Kid’s Dash, too. Plus, participants will get a shirt, custom medal, free photos and treats at the finish line. Register adults and children here.

Watch out! RAM’s Wustum Museum is coming through with a massive printing press. Witness this over-the-top spectacle as more than a dozen regional artists come together to use a steamroller (yes, a steamroller) as a jumbo printing press from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
