About 400 volunteers will help prepare and serve meals on Dec. 25 for an estimated 4,000 people at the Baird Center for The Salvation Army’s 35th annual Christmas Family Feast.
Doors at the Baird Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., will open at 10:30 a.m. A dine-in-only meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
“Christmas Family Feast is a Milwaukee tradition filled with food, fun and fellowship,” said Maj. Beverly Gates, area commander for The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County. “We encourage everyone to join us on Christmas Day.”
All attendees will receive a sit-down meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread, green beans and dessert. Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance.
Christmas Family Feast is presented by Advocate Aurora Health. Other sponsors include Ascension, the Baird Center, Bimbo Bakeries, Cedar Crest Ice Cream, Hunger Task Force, Kiwanis, Levy, Milwaukee County Transit System, Roundy’s/Pick ‘n Save, Sysco and the We Energies Foundation.
