Strawberry Festival

Strawberry Festival

About 100,000 people head to Cedarburg for its annual Strawberry Festival. They come for strawberry shortcake-eating competitions, chocolate-covered strawberries and Cedar Creek Winery’s Strawberry Blush wine. They stay for the CedarQuacker 500 rubber duck races, strawberry brats and Plein Air painting competition. This year, there’s even more art to see, says BJ. Homayouni, Festivals of Cedarburg executive director. “We have a new extension of our footprint for the second year,” she says, which means more crafts, artisans and resellers than ever before. (June 22 and 23). Cedar Creek Park. N52 W5882 Portland Rd., Cedarburg, 262-377-3891, cedarburgfestivals.org.
