When it’s time to move, Smart Moves can take the chaos out of the process. Founded in 2003, Smart Moves began as a company helping seniors through the moving and downsizing process.

Over the years, the company has expanded to offer specialty concierge and at-home services for all. The process is simple: First, clients schedule a complimentary consultation to determine a tailored plan for their needs, and then a team of compassionate transition specialists takes it from there.

“We pack up the chaos and bring in the calm,” says owner Melinda Stuart. “A move can seem like a chaotic, difficult ordeal, but we help our clients plan everything they need and take care of all the issues. It makes the situation manageable and brings them peace of mind, knowing that we have it covered.”

If needed, Smart Moves will do a safety assessment walkthrough of a client’s current space. For clients recovering from surgery or experiencing temporary mobility changes, the team can rearrange items to create wider walkways and relocate items to the first floor. Other clients may be looking to adapt spaces like closets, garages and office setups for efficiency or because they want to refresh the area.

After working with thousands of clients over the last two decades, Stuart says that no two projects are ever the same. The services provided by Smart Moves are specifically tailored to the client to ensure their unique needs are met.

“Having someone to help break things into manageable steps and help with some of the physical and emotional parts that go along with change results in a positive transition,” Stuart says.
