After closing its door in March of 2020, representatives of Punch Bowl Social announced in a morning news release that the popular Deer District bar/restaurant will be permanently reopening this week.
The opening on Wednesday is just in time for March Madness. The first two rounds of the NCAA tournament will be held at the Fiserv Forum on Friday and Sunday.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
“Punch Bowl Social delivers a unique experience for all of our guests, so we are thrilled to be opening on March 16 with our full menu and entertainment experience,” Robert Cornog, Jr., Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Punch Bowl Social, said in the release.
The restaurant had a difficult time reopening after its pandemic closing because of financial and legal issues within the restaurant’s parent company that have recently been settled, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The Milwaukee location hours will be 4 p.m. -midnight on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 p.m. -2 a.m. on Fridays, 11 a.m. –2 a.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. -midnight on Sundays.
