Packers Assist Brown County and the Milwaukee Area with $1.5 million in Covid-19 Relief Funds

Leave it to the Green Bay Packers to lend a hand in a time of need. As many know, the Milwaukee area has taken a hard hit in rising numbers of COVID-19 cases. With the area consuming a majority of the state’s cases.

In order to assist efforts, through Packers Give Back, they announced they will establish COVID-19 Community Relief Funds. The funds totaling $1.5 million.

$500,000 will be directed to support the Milwaukee community, both immediately and in the future. While $1 million is Brown County-directed fund.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy knows that nonprofit support agencies will be working hard during this time, but as many do right now, they’ll need the additional support. The Packers have committed to their continued support throughout these troubling times.

Mark and Laurie Murphy, alone, have donated $240,000 to the relief efforts as well.

While the circumstances are unfortunate, the donation is one that instills hope. Thank you, Packers, for spreading a little love.
