OMG Love!

We plumbed a recent Public Policy Forum survey on millennials’ cultural desires.

➸ 52 percent of millennials say arts and culture are important factors when considering whether to live in the city.

➸ Reasons to love Milwaukee? The most-cited, chosen by 40 percent of all respondents, was the variety of entertainment and activities.

➸ What does the next generation of leaders like least about the city? 51 percent say crime; 14 percent say segregation.

➸ Arts organizations and venues ranked eighth among metro Milwaukee-area 25-34-year-olds as the most important amenities.

➸ Money matters. The more money respondents made, the more satisfied they were with the city’s nightlife and cultural offerings.
