NEWaukee Night Market Guide

The free, outdoor event is a downtown Milwaukee staple.

Once again, the NEWaukee Night Market returns to downtown Milwaukee this Wednesday, June 13 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you’re interested in supporting more local Milwaukee businesses, then this is where you should start.

The Night Market is a free outdoor event that lines Wisconsin Ave. (between 2nd and 4th Streets) with vendors, entertainers and artists. The event lights up Wisconsin Ave. on Wednesdays once a month from June through September, so make sure to pop over while you can.

As for performers and activities, there are four DJs throughout the night taking turns spinning tracks, along with performances from the Milwaukee Flyers, TRUE Skool Band and DanceWorks. If you’d like to participate throughout the night, you can play a life size game of chess, listen to a one-minute “audio escape,” take a photo with a lifesize cutout of some Milwaukee icons or huddle around and cook some yummy s’mores.

Come hungry, because there are plenty of food trucks and food tents. To name a few,  T. Best Kettle Corn Co., Toast, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, BelAir Cantina, The Capital Grille, Funky Fresh Spring Rolls and Iron Grate BBQ Co. are just some of the tasty vendors you can sample.

After your belly is full, enjoy the rest of your night by admiring local art, sampling local baked goods and trying on unique jewelry. With nearly 80 arts, crafts, homegoods and consumables vendors, you will definitely get your fair share of local Milwaukee culture for the night.

NEWaukee suggests parking at Secure Parking USA in the 2nd and Michigan lot.
