Move over, Bankrupt – Milwaukee is landing on the Jackpot. “Wheel of Fortune” will be airing an entire episode dedicated to the Cream City, in partnership with Visit Milwaukee.
Airing April 23, the episode will highlight Milwaukee’s culture, lifestyle and taste, and aims to reach potential travelers just as summer hits the city. “This is about telling Milwaukee’s story on one of the most recognizable stages in television,” said Peggy Williams-Smith, president and CEO of Visit Milwaukee. “From our culinary scene to our festivals and iconic brands, this Milwaukee episode brings the very best of our city to millions of viewers.”

The episode will highlight the wonders Milwaukee offers travelers, with the grand prize being the holy grail of Milwaukee travel – a stay at The Pfister, dining at The Bartolotta Restaurants, a culinary course at Lakefront Brewery and entertainment at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel. Each prize package will also include tickets to the Harley-Davidson Museum, connecting winners to the city’s foundational brands and experiences.
Everyone has a chance to win, however, with additional experiences such as VIP access to Summerfest, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel and marvelous Milwaukee Theatre District outings up for grabs. Additional partners featured in the episode include Harbor House, Lake Park Bistro, Carnevor Steakhouse, Kegel’s Inn, 3rd Street Market Hall, City Tours MKE and the Pabst Theater Group.

Milwaukee’s new era is upon us, marked by its recent “Flavor Era” campaign highlighting the rising culinary culture, marked by its inclusion into the Michelin guide. With its presence in both culture and craft, Milwaukee isn’t just keeping pace; it’s setting the tempo for the entire Midwest region, and this episode aims to highlight that position.
“Milwaukee’s Flavor Era is all about showing up with confidence in our food, our culture, and our experiences,” Williams-Smith said. “It’s about stepping into who we are as a destination and putting that on full display for millions of viewers across the country.”
Visit Milwaukee also plans to expand its reach through placements in Wheel of Fortune’s “Wheel Watcher Club” and on Wheel of Fortune’s website.
About eight million viewers are expected to tune in for the episode, which will air at 6:30 p.m. local time on CBS 58 and in markets where Wheel of Fortune is available.
