The Milwaukee Art Museum is once again hosting MAM After Dark, starting Friday, Jan. 24 from 7-11 p.m.
The relaunched MAM After Dark series opens the institution after hours on select Fridays for live music, drinks and “light bites,” and “immersive activations,” according to a news release.

The Jan. 24 kickoff event will have a “Salsa Night” theme, with dance performances and instruction by Mezclando Milwaukee, and live music from flamenco guitarist Evan Christian and salsa band Orquesta Ayala. The event includes a scavenger hunt through the galleries highlighting art made by Hispanic and Latinx artists.
Admission is $30 in advance and $35 at the door for non-members ($10 and $15, respectively, for members). Tickets are available here.
After the kickoff event on Jan. 24, MAM After Dark will return on Feb. 21 with a “New York Nights” theme and March 21 with a “March Masquerade” theme.
The long-running and popular MAM After Dark series was canceled in-person during the COVID pandemic in 2020.
“There’s nothing quite like MAM After Dark when the energy of creativity and the community come together in our amazing space,” said Scott Schwebel, Chief Experience Officer. “I’m excited to bring one of Milwaukee’s most sought-after events back to the Museum.”
