Inside Bradford Beach’s Sand Volleyball Scene

The Lake Michigan shoreline is home to some sweet digs for volleyball players.

The volleyball scene is bumping here in Milwaukee, especially at our biggest public beach.

“Bradford Beach is more like what you would find in LA or South Bay, [California], where you have these legendary beaches for volleyball courts,” says Tomás Goldsmith, the owner and founder of Volley Life.

His organization runs 30 courts at Bradford, which host 3,000 players for leagues, tournaments, clinics and open play.
