Here’s When You Can Get Free George Webb Burgers

To mark 12 straight Brewers wins, the chain is giving out free burgers for only the third time in its history.

1987, 2018, 2025. These are years that will forever be whispered of in Milwaukee: the years that George Webb gave out free burgers. After the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday, the team hit 12 straight wins, triggering the restaurant chain’s 12-game free burgers promotion.

George Webb announced that the free giveaway will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 2-6 p.m. at every one of George Webb’s 23 locations in Wisconsin. There will also be a limited menu that day with deals on extra burgers, fries and drinks.

Can’t make it that day? There’s an alternative. Starting on Friday, Aug. 15, you can pick up a voucher for a free burger at any location, to be redeemed at a later date.

“Our founder made the bold prediction of 12 games in a row back in the 1940s, and it has only been realized three times in our company history,” said Ryan Stamm, vice president of George Webb Restaurants, in a news release. “We couldn’t be happier for Milwaukee – we look forward to grilling up some tasty victory burgers for the best fans in baseball.”
