Flavors of Wisconsin Comes to Milwaukee to Raise Awareness for Liver Disease

Because sometimes fundraising can taste really good.

This is not your traditional health fundraiser: Flavors, an event hosted nationwide by the American Liver Foundation, is more about the food than anything else, inviting attendees to embrace their inner foodie while supporting a good cause.

Traditional gala meals might run the gamut from top-notch to rubbery banquet chicken, but Flavors transcends that spectrum, putting local chefs at the heart of the event. Top chefs prepare meals tableside, showing off their skills and what exactly goes into making each dish.

Milwaukee will be having its own Flavors of Wisconsin event on Sunday, April 22, where guests can dine at the Pfister Hotel (424 E Wisconsin Ave.) and experience the national event for themselves. Featured chefs include Rachael Karr of Pastiche Bistro and Wine Bar, Gregory Leon of Amilinda, Thi Cao of Buckley’s, Dave Swanson of Braise, Dane Baldwin of The Diplomat, Jonathon Manyo of Morel, Dan Jacobs & Dan Van Rite of Dandan, and more.

Tickets are still available for the event, which runs from 4:30 to 10 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit the event’s website.
