Becky Tivis has worked in Zuern’s cabinetry department for nearly a decade. “It’s a wonderful family atmosphere,” Tivis says. “As designers, we have the freedom to be creative. Our customers trust us to give them the best advice and to be upfront. And, of course, I love helping them make their homes look great.”

Zuern has been a family-owned staple in Southeastern Wisconsin’s building and design industry for over 70 years. What started as a small shop with five employees in 1953 now spans eight showrooms and over 250 people on staff.

“Even though we’re a growing company, we’re still family-owned, and our customers can feel that,” Tivis says. “We’re not like a big-box store. We have employees who have worked here for decades and who really care about making sure our customers have the best experience possible.”

Tivis is one of many designers who work with homeowners and contractors across Zuern’s locations. She walks each client through the design process, from the first idea to the final installation. Zuern’s expert team provides advice on decks, window coverings, decor and more.

The company also supplies building materials to homeowners and commercial and residential contractors. “We have specialists in each department – we design decks, kitchens, homes,” Tivis says. “Whatever your project, we have experienced professionals who can help make it happen.”
