The boutique moving company offers a hands-on, personalized moving process. Founded over 20 years ago, Smart Moves specializes in helping clients enjoy an elevated move experience.

Unlike larger moving companies, Smart Moves works closely with each client to craft a customized plan that fits their exact needs.

Each move begins with a complimentary consultation, after which Smart Moves’ certified move managers put together a detailed plan to make the process easy and convenient. They measure clients’ furniture and build a custom floor plan to place the furnishings in their new space.

“Moving can be difficult – especially if you’ve been in your home for many years,” Stuart says. “We treat every one of our clients with compassion and understanding.”

Smart Moves handles all the hassle of the move, including dealing with any possessions that a client no longer wants or needs. They assess everything in the house and work with contract partners to easily sell, donate, recycle or dispose of unwanted items. “If a client has any special requests, with timing, moving, getting settled, we work hard to make sure to meet them. That’s what sets us apart as a boutique moving service that specializes in helping with all the details involved with a move.”

The company also recently added an interior designer to its team to help clients craft the ideal new space. And they’ve expanded to include concierge services, including assisting clients in decorating, organizing, shopping for new furniture and more.

“We want the process to be calm, comfortable, and when it’s done, the clients are happy with their move,” Stuart says.
