Face of Gaming

Potawatomi Casino Hotel has been a Milwaukee icon for over 30 years. Since 1991, the entertainment destination has been a premier attraction for gaming, dining, concerts and more.
The past three years have been some of the biggest in Potawatomi history, with the casino hotel investing $190 million to renovate its space. The vast project wrapped up in May, with the opening of Potawatomi’s Sportsbook and Poker Room. The Sportsbook is the largest sports betting venue in the Midwest, with two floors, over 20 televisions, a broadcast booth and over 200 seats with 75 kiosks.
The centerpiece is its over-2,000-square-foot LED video wall, which can show over 30 different sporting events at once. The Sportsbook also houses one of Potawatomi’s new dining options, The Kitchen, which serves all-day brunch, wings, desserts and much more – plus 48 beers on tap and 14 specialty cocktails.
“It is our priority to bring our guests the next level of gaming, and do so in an inviting and entertaining atmosphere,” says Dominic Ortiz, the CEO and general manager. “In all my years in the gaming industry, the opening of the Sportsbook and Poker Room has to be the most exciting time in my career.”
The Sportsbook marks the last in a long series of major additions, including Cream City Coffee Co., a new Marketplace dining hall, and Rock & Brews Restaurant from KISS founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. Potawatomi also added the 1833 Club, a luxurious lounge for its VIP members, and renovated its third-floor gaming area with new table games and slots.
The casino and hotel is also expanding its entertainment options. This summer, Potawatomi hosted its first Potawatomi Amplified Concert Series in its outdoor concert venue, with Snoop Dogg headlining the first blockbuster concert in June.
With the renovation complete, this local landmark is moving into a new era, with impressive amenities and state-of-the-art accommodations.
