Founded 48 years ago, Greenfield Veterinary Clinic sets the standard for veterinary care in metro Milwaukee.

This year, the clinic was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association – a rigorous process in which the clinic is meticulously inspected and the practice is observed to ensure that it provides the highest quality of care. Dr. James Work and Parvin Work, a husband-and-wife-team, own and operate the clinic.

With over four decades of experience as a veterinarian, Dr. Work inspires loyalty in the clinic’s clients.

“We see second-, third-, and fourth-generation clients,” Dr. Work says. “We’re now seeing the great-grandchildren of clients we saw years ago. People come to the clinic from as far as Chicago. When you come here, you feel like you’re part of our family. And with all the years of experience our team has, people are comfortable and confident bringing their animals to us.”

Last year, the clinic finished the first phase of an expansion and remodel. The project added a new exam room, surgery room and dental room, and this year the clinic is remodeling its in-house diagnostic laboratory, kennel and treatment areas, as well. Greenfield Veterinary Clinic keeps its laboratory stocked with the latest in veterinary technology, including a state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine, surgical laser, human-grade ultrasound and much more.

Dr. Work frequently works with animals that have complex health issues and require surgeries. “We’re experienced with a lot of difficult cases,” he says.

Greenfield Veterinary Clinic also has an experienced staff of longtime employees that are dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients and unmatched care for animals.

“We treat our staff like family – and we look at our clients that same way,” Parvin says.
