Allen Partners
Face of Career Coaching

Julie Allen’s career began with remarkable success in Disney leadership, thriving within a dynamic team, building strong relationships, tackling challenging work, and finding fulfillment. However, after relocating with her husband, Rich Allen, a new opportunity proved to be a sharp contrast.
“On my first day, I knew it wasn’t the right fit,” Julie recalls. “Looking back, a more intentional hiring process would likely have steered me elsewhere.”
These contrasting experiences became the catalyst for her life’s work. “My passions led me to executive search, where I believed I could establish a better way for companies to recruit leaders who uniquely fit their needs, goals, and values. With purpose and passion, I set out to solve a problem I experienced firsthand.”
In 2003, after several years in executive search, she founded Allen Partners. Inspired by her father’s death from heart failure, Julie ventured into the Medtech industry, collaborating with companies at the forefront of life-saving technologies. Rich joined her in 2005, solidifying their firm’s foundation and cultivating a thriving client base.
“We’ve built a reputation of excellence, representing each company with credibility, knowledge and enthusiasm, and every candidate with a deep understanding, seeing the ‘whole person.’”
However, Julie identified another crucial need. “Our executive searches are nuanced to meet the specific needs of our company clients, focusing primarily on their requirements unless an individual becomes a candidate in the process. Yet, many confident, experienced leaders contemplating ‘what’s next’ were seeking my perspective and thought partnership to help them discover, discern and articulate the most promising path to explore. They wanted clarity on their aspirations and a strategic partner to achieve them. That’s where I came in.”
This realization led her to launch career coaching in 2006, designed for ambitious leaders considering the next phase in their career and life. “I’ve found that, like myself, people want to make an impact, find fulfillment in their career, and work with people they admire and respect. Through my coaching, you’ll deepen self-discovery, articulate your unique value and transform your goals, visions, and aspirations into reality.”
