Rite-Hite, a global company founded and based in Milwaukee since 1965, is setting in motion a vision embodied in a new Global Headquarters Campus. After selecting a 9-acre parcel in the Walker’s Point neighborhood, the company knew that engaging the right partners to make their vision come to life was a must. Just like Rite-Hite strives to be its customers’ best material handling partner, the company insisted on selecting the best architect and general contractor for their project.

That’s where Eppstein Uhen Architects and C.D. Smith Construction came into the picture. The expertise, experience and can-do attitudes that come naturally to these two companies worked harmoniously with the Rite-Hite team. The faces of this project – Rite-Hite, EUA and C.D. Smith – met weekly, with everyone represented, ensuring transparent lines of communication from the owners, through the supply chain, to trade partners and beyond to keep the work on track. It was a true team effort where everyone played a role in orchestrating the best outcomes.

This one-of-a-kind campus, complete with a Customer Experience Center and Live Loading Dock Demonstration space, hands-on technical training space, classrooms, and office and meeting spaces, is on-trend and functional. This team has created a city landmark that will serve Rite-Hite and its customers now and for years to come.
