Greenfield Veterinary Clinic

Greenfield Veterinary Clinic has been a staple in animal care in the metro Milwaukee area for 47 years. The small business has been owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Dr. James Work and Parvin Work since the late ’90s. Parvin is the clinic’s business manager, while Dr. Work is a veterinarian with over four decades of experience in the field.

“We’re a family-owned practice,” Dr. Work says. “We’re not a corporate practice – when you come here you feel like you’re part of our family. And with all the years of experience our team has, people are comfortable and confident bringing their animals to us.”

Earlier this year, the clinic finished a major expansion which added nearly 1,000 square feet, including a new exam room, surgery room, dental room and more. Greenfield Veterinary Clinic regularly upgrades its equipment and has a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine, surgical laser, a therapy laser, endoscope, human-grade ultrasound, thermographic camera and a full in-house laboratory.

Dr. Work has extensive experience in surgeries, and the clinic also has a team of four other veterinarians – Dr. Christian Taylor, who just celebrated 20 years at the clinic; Dr. Amanda Schellinger; Dr. Kimberlyn Warkoczewski; and Dr. Brad Wahlgren, the most recent addition to the team, who joined the practice this year. The entire staff prides itself on providing exceptional service and quality, affordable care for the many animals it helps.

“We have a culture of caring here, in addition to our medical excellence,” Parvin says. “Our strength is in our team and our first obligation is always to our clients and their animals.”
