Face of Wealth Management

Established in 1985, IAG Wealth Partners has become a premier wealth management firm in Southeastern Wisconsin. Led by founder, president and CEO Lori Watt, the IAG team has spent four decades guiding young professionals, families, retirees and people of all ages in making sound wealth management decisions.
IAG’s approach to financial planning is holistic. While a healthy retirement is always a part of the plan, there are other goals along the way that clients can meet with IAG’s experienced guidance. The comprehensive perspective ensures that spending, saving and investing strategies align with each client’s personal short- and long-term aspirations. Over time, this fosters relationships built on trust and results.
“We are focused on financial planning, and not just on the investments,” says Watt. “How does it all fit in a plan for their life, whether that’s their goals for retirement, their charitable giving, or taking care of the needs of their family and friends. We use that intimate understanding to make a plan that really fits their lives.”
One of the most distinguishing features of IAG is its commitment to multi-generational service. Many clients introduce their children and grandchildren to the firm. Watt has even advised four generations within one family. “We’re in it for the long haul with our clients,” she says.
“Seeing families grow and helping them through different life stages is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.” This long-term commitment is also reflected in the IAG team itself. More than half of the staff has been with IAG for over a decade, and some for more than two.
“I made the decision early on that we needed to structure an environment that would give our advisors the ability to have the greatest growth potential,” says Watt. “We constantly work on developing the next generation of advisors and helping them to grow within our firm, so they can have the career they dream of.”
With generational success in mind, Watt and the team are working on IAG’s succession plan. “We have begun expanding ownership of IAG to include other of our financial advisors and professional staff,” says Watt.
“We want to keep building on that by growing up our next generation of advisors. That’s why we’re focused so heavily on building from within, so that we can create the team that will carry on the IAG legacy.”
