Eye Care Specialists

This year, Eye Care Specialists is celebrating 40 years! Over the decades, the Eye Care Specialists team has served over 200,000 patients, with treatments for a broad spectrum of eye disorders and conditions. 

The practice has three locations – Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and West Allis. And the West Allis location recently saw the addition of a new 14,000-square-foot, freestanding clinic across from its existing building. This space represents the team’s commitment to enhancing patient care and expanding services within the community.

With an unwavering commitment to serving their patients, the doctors at Eye Care Specialists continue to serve as pioneers in the industry. Members of the team were selected to serve as investigators in FDA-related studies on the safety and effectiveness of laser vision correction.

The practice’s founders were the first eye surgeons in Wisconsin to perform ultrasonic cataract removal. And they continually provide free community-service eye screenings for church, civic and other organizations throughout the greater Milwaukee area.  Plus, Eye Care Specialists is a front-runner in OCT laser scanning to detect and treat glaucoma and retinal disorders.

“Catching eye conditions early is crucial because it can prevent irreversible damage and vision loss,” says Dr. Michael Raciti. “Early detection allows for timely treatment options, which can slow or halt the disease progression, preserve vision and offer less invasive treatments.”
