Celebrate Asian culture and experience Boerner Botanical Gardens “Brighter Than Ever” at the Midwest premiere of China Lights, October 1-30th. China Lights will feature brilliantly lighted giant lantern sculptures, nightly performances, cultural activities, and food. 40 displays will be aglow throughout the nine acre gardens, including a 3 foot baby panda in Panda World, a 3-story Chinese palace pagoda, a 200 foot dragon, and much more.
In addition, each weekend will feature a different theme
- October 1-2 – Opening Weekend
- October 7-9 – Asian Cuisine
- October 14-16- Moon Festival
- October 21-23 – Cultural Weekend
- October 29-30 – Closing Weekend
