Jennifer Janssen, owner of Avery & Birch spent years building a successful career as a professional makeup artist and esthetician in the Milwaukee area. Through her experience, Janssen recognized a need for beauty studio spaces that combined luxury, professionalism and thoughtful design with an elevated experience for both beauty professionals and their clients. 

In 2023, Janssen brought that vision to life with the opening of Avery & Birch in Greenfield. The luxury beauty studio features 35 private suites designed for beauty and wellness professionals. “I wanted to create the kind of space I wished existed throughout my career,” Janssen says. “A place where professionals could feel proud of where they work and where clients immediately feel welcomed.”

What sets Avery & Birch apart is its attention to detail and industry-driven approach. Janssen, alongside operations manager Delanie Ford, brings years of beauty industry experience and firsthand insight into what professionals and their clients value most. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to create an exceptional experience.

Following the success of the Greenfield location, Avery & Birch has expanded with a second location, with construction currently underway as the company continues to grow. “People always comment on how beautiful the building is when they walk in,” Janssen says. “The greatest compliment is hearing that our professionals genuinely love coming to work every day.”
