ADAMM makes a donation to support Feeding America

Donations were made through their “Change Your Oil, Change Lives,” program

The Automobile Deals Association of Mega Milwaukee, or ADAMM, recently donated to Feeding America after their three-month program, “Change Your Oil, Change Lives.”

Feeding America, which is the largest domestic hunger-relief program in the nation, is responsible for over 200 food banks and millions of people fed across the United States. The Eastern Wisconsin Feeding America branch runs mobile, school and diabetic-friendly pantries in the area.

“It was very kind of so many auto dealers of Southeastern Wisconsin for participating in helping Feeding America,” said Roman Weninger, a board member of ADAMM.

This was the fifth year that ADAMM has put on the event for the community. For every oil change that happened from December to March 3, $1 was donated towards helping Feeding America. Jars for additional donations were set up around the dealerships as well, where more money was collected before the official donation happened.

Not only will the donations help feed families in Milwaukee, but they’ll benefit the surrounding communities where donations were raised as well, according to Weninger.

In eastern Wisconsin, one in seven people face difficulties with hunger, according to Feeding America. There are multiple ways to help, including donating food and your time to a food bank in your area.
