Apple cider doughnut season is officially here, and there’s certainly no shortage of places to buy the sugary baked goods in Southeastern Wisconsin. Local farms, bakeries and orchards are once again serving up this beloved fall treat. Here are nine spots to grab fresh apple cider doughnuts this season.
1. Patterson Orchards
Stop by this family-owned apple orchard’s doughnut trailer to purchase apple cider doughnuts fresh off the fryer – single doughnuts are $1.50, and a half dozen is $7. The trailer is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 4607 S. 124th St., New Berlin
2. M&T’s Gibbsville Orchard
You can pick these doughnuts up at the farm store, located just outside Sheboygan Falls, where they’re served straight from the kitchen. The orchard is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. N3322 State Rd. 32, Sheboygan Falls
3. Barthel Fruit Farm
Barthel’s on-site bakery food truck is open daily from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., offering warm, homemade apple cider doughnuts and other fall-inspired treats. 12246 N Farmdale Rd Mequon

4. Rim’s Edge Orchard
Rim’s Edge Orchard kicked off the season last week with the return of fall bakery items. The freshly made apple cider doughnuts are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. – and you can pair them with the orchard’s homemade apple cider. W220 N10550 Amy Belle Rd., Germantown
5. Basse’s Taste of Country
As part of its annual pumpkin fest celebration, Basse’s Taste of Country is offering fresh-made apple cider doughnuts at its on-site Corn Crib Cafe. 6. Peck & Bushel Orchard
According to USA Today, Peck & Bushel Orchard is the eighth best orchard in the country. Fresh and topped with cinnamon sugar, the orchard’s apple cider doughnuts are available Friday through Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 5454 County Rd. Q, Colgate

7. Honey Creek Orchard
At Honey Creek Orchard, apple cider doughnuts are made fresh every day from homemade pressed apple cider. After a day of apple and pumpkin picking, you can purchase the doughnuts and other fall treats at the orchard’s concession stand, open every day except Tuesday. 8210 Pioneer Rd., Cedarburg
8. Awe’s Apple Orchard
Stop by Awe’s on-site bakery to purchase homemade apple cider doughnuts and other fresh pastries. The orchard is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 8081 S. 100th St., Franklin
9. Apple Holler
About 30 minutes south of Milwaukee, Apple Holler makes fresh cider doughnuts daily. It’s no longer offering online order pickup, so you’ll need to visit the bakery to purchase them.
