1. Downtown Employee Appreciation Week

MONDAY-FRIDAY FROM 7 A.M.-9 P.M. | ONLINE EVENTS

Although this year’s Downtown Employee Appreciation Week looks different than usual, the event is just as energetic and exciting as usual. The virtual events still contain a full lineup of activities. Whether it’s evening kayaking, a drive-in movie, daily streaming concerts, or games and giveaways, there’s sure to be something to make you feel appreciated!

2. Virtual Stargazing

MONDAY FROM 7-7:45 P.M. | ONLINE EVENT

Perfect for the whole family, throughout the month, Planetarium Director Bob Bonadurer hosts virtual tours of the September night sky. Bonadurer will virtually lead you through a 45-minute program of the gleaming night sky. The event costs $10 per household.

3. Dinner at the Garden

TUESDAY FROM 4-7 P.M. | ALICE’S GARDEN URBAN FARM

Alice’s Garden Artisan Market will have your soul singing. Every Tuesday this Fall, visitors can enjoy vegan soul food. This week’s dinner special is BBQ Chicken.

4. Rooftop Meet Up

TUESDAY FROM 7-9 P.M. | MILWAUKEE BREWING COMPANY

Once again, Milwaukee Brewing Company hosts their Rooftop Meet Up. To ensure social distancing, there is a limit of 100 people or less on the event, so be sure to register. The event costs $10 and includes the entrance fee, two drinks and appetizers.

5. Oasis on Vliet Street (Market)

A brand new farmers market makes its debut on Vliet Street. A perfect opportunity to get some produce and some fresh air.

6. Ice Cream Ride to Gilles

The Milwaukee Rep hosts a new virtual dialogue series called REPair Divides. This week, the conversation is centered around civic engagement.
