1. “Mending” Virtual Art Opening

Nancy Aten of Landscapes of Place explores themes of landscape fracture and ecological restoration in her art exhibit at the Menomonee branch of the Urban Ecology Center. You can register for the online opening and artist talk on the Center’s website.

2. Virtual LGBTQ+ History Trivia

FRIDAY, JUNE 26 FROM 7-9 P.M.

Hosted by the Milwaukee Public Library, this online event is a way to test your knowledge of LGBTQ+ history and pop culture and celebrate Pride Month, all while social distancing.

3. Food Preservation 101

SATURDAY, JUNE 27 FROM 2-3:40 P.M.

Sign up for this Urban Ecology Center class to learn the basics of canning fruits and vegetables so you can enjoy your summer produce well into the colder months.

4. Outdoor Yoga + A Beverage

SATURDAY YOGA + A BEVERAGE FROM 10-11 A.M.

Join MKE Yoga Social for a yoga class and social hour in the beer garden at The Backyard in Bay View. Class sizes are reduced to accommodate social distancing — be sure to register early, and bring a mask if you have one.

5. #ReviveLiveMKE with Andrew Bird

SUNDAY, JUNE 28 AT 7 P.M.

Pabst Theater Group’s latest livestream guest is Andrew Bird, a singer-songwriter whose most recent album was nominated for “Best Folk Album” at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Tickets to the livestream can be purchased on the Pabst website.
