The Wisconsin State Fair Food Drive-Thru kicked off on Thursday and will continue for four weekends this summer. This weekend’s menu features “Deep Fried Bliss,” so be sure to wear stretch pants or at least loosen your belt before driving over.

3. Chalk the State

The Museum of Wisconsin Art’s annual chalk art festival was canceled this year. Fortunately, MOWA is teaming up with local arts organizations throughout the state to encourage Wiconsinites to chalk up driveways and sidewalks this weekend.
4. Bay View Adventure Club Community Day
BAY VIEW, MILWAUKEE | SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M. TO NOON
Bay View is home to many of Milwaukee’s beloved summer events, and unfortunately many of those events have had to be canceled this season. Residents, organizations and businesses are showcasing what makes the community so special with art, music, chalk, service projects and more this weekend. Participants can run, walk or bike in the area to see the showcase. Event organizers suggest making a $25 donation to the Bay View Community Center to participate.
5. Adopt-a-River Cleanup
BOONE & CROCKETT AT 818 S. WATER ST. | SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M. TO NOON
Boone & Crockett teamed up with Milwaukee Riverkeeper to adopt the Milwaukee riverfront, and they need your help to clean it up. You can clean up the river from the shore or jump in a kayak from their partner Brew City Kayak to help from the water. Masks are required at this event.
