5 Things to Do in Milwaukee This Week That Don’t Involve a Crowd: May 26-29

Here are five things to do in Milwaukee this week.

1. Beginners Virtual Somatic Yoga Experience

TUESDAY, MAY 26 FROM 7-8 P.M.

Feeling stressed during this time of social distancing? MKE Yoga Social has been offering a wide range of virtual classes, and this weekly beginner workshop is a great way to relax. Be sure to register at least 30 minutes before the class starts.

2. Virtual Paint and Sip

THURSDAY, MAY 28 FROM 6-8 P.M.

If you’re hoping to connect with your artistic side, this is the class for you. The Farmhouse offers virtual step-by-step painting tutorials, and today’s project is a sunflower. You can find a complete schedule on the Farmhouse website.

3. Backyard Wildlife

FRIDAY, MAY 29 FROM 9-10 A.M.

Supplement your at-home learning with this virtual session from the Urban Ecology Center, perfect for teens and families. Today’s topic is the Virginia Opossum, Wisconsin’s only marsupial. Check out the Center’s website for more backyard learning opportunities.

4. #ReviveLiveMKE

FRIDAY, MAY 29 AT 7 P.M.

Milwaukee’s concert venues might be closed, but you can enjoy the Pabst Theater Group’s #ReviveLiveMKE series without leaving your living room. This week’s livestream performer is singer-songwriter Sara Evans, with a setlist of hits and new music, plus a few audience requests. Tickets are available on the Pabst website.

5. Virtual MAM After Dark

FRIDAY, MAY 29 FROM 7-11 P.M.

Here’s a party you won’t want to miss! Tune in to Virtual MAM After Dark for an evening of livestream performances and virtual workshops, all from the comfort of your own home.
