3. Northwoods by Amy Pease

OUT JAN. 9

The debut novel from Wisconsin-based author Amy Pease follows a small Up North resort town’s police department as it investigates the murder of a teen boy. With the opioid epidemic as its backdrop, this literary Midwestern noir is out Jan. 9.
