22 Local Spots to Shop This Small Business Saturday

This Saturday will be filled with deals, markets, giveaways and more.

1. Swoon

5422 W. VLIET ST.

Head over to Washington Heights to visit Swoon for discounts on hand crafted items. On Saturday, you can “pick your discount” from a bucket for 10%, 15%, a gift certificate to another local business or a swag bag filled with items from local artists and businesses. 

2. Orange and Blue Co 

1809 N. HUBBARD ST.

Stop by between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and enjoy complimentary mimosas while you shop a variety of unique home and body goods. Spend more than $25 to get a free tote bag designed by Wit and Co. and screen printed by Split Fountain Press. Get there early, mimosas and tote bags will be given out while supplies last. 

3. Boswell Books 

2559 N. DOWNER AVE. 

For all the book lovers out there, Boswell Books will have a discounted holiday selection, book bundles, holiday gift cards and special discounts.

4. Little Monsters 

2445 N. FARWELL AVE.

This children’s toys and clothing boutique is offereing 10% off all clothing and 25% off advent calendars. Throughout the day customers can also participate in different giveaways. 

5. URSA 

2534 S. KINNICKINNIC AVE.

If you are one of the first 50 people to spend $25 or more at URSA, you will receive a tote bag filled with coupons and gift cards to over 20 Bay View small businesses. URSA will also have a gift card giveaway and storewide discounts. 

6. Tippecanoe Herbs  

2235 S. KINNICKINNIC AVE.

The first 100 customers will receive gift bags with exclusive items including hand rolled incense and a garden hydrosol. 

7. Sparrow Collective

If you’re one of the first 25 customers at Sparrow Collective on Saturday you’ll get a free swag bag. Inside the swag bags are coupons and gear from other local businesses in Bay View. Four of the swag bags will contain a $25 gift certificate for Sparrow Collective. If you can’t beat the crowd, don’t worry, throughout the day customers will save 10% on all purchases, or come between 5 and 7 p.m. for 20% off the store. 

8. Plume

On Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., samples of Voyager wine and bubbly will be given out to customers and bottles will be available to purchase. The sales last from Friday to Sunday. Plume also has an Etsy if you prefer to shop online.

16. Explorium Brewpub 

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

If you are from Wisconsin, you probably have someone on your gift list who loves beer. Explorium Brewpub will be having sales over the weekend. On Small Business Saturday, when you spend $100 in gift cards, you will get a $20 gift card for free.

17. Olson House

4326 N. OAKLAND AVE.

You can shop gifts with Scandinavian influences at Olson House. This Saturday, get 20% off up to $249 and 25% off $250 and up. You can also pop in for their “Good Karma Friday” deal on Friday, when ornaments will be 20% off and 10% of all sales will go to Kinship Community Food Center. 

18. The Waxwing

ONLINE

The Waxwing is having sales online all weekend, but on Saturday it’ll have 30% off site wide from midnight to 6 a.m., 25% off from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 20% off from 10 a.m. to midnight. The Waxwing will also give curated gift boxes to the first 50 customers who spend $25 or more, and there will be free gifts all day while supplies last.

This market will feature over 40 local, Black-owned businesses and vendors for Small Business Saturday. There will also be music curated by HYFIN radio DJs playing while you shop. 

20. Small Biz Shindig 

2625 S. GREELEY ST.

The businesses of The Hide House are coming together for a Small Business Saturday “shindig,” where all the vendors will showcase their work in the lobby of the building. There will be food and refreshments, a holiday photo booth and more. 

21. Mercadito 

3558 E. SIVYER AVE., ST. FRANCIS

La Finca Coffee House in St. Francis is hosting Mercadito on Small Business Saturday, a market that will feature local makers and creators. The market will run from 1 to 5 p.m. 

22. Shop Small Saturday With Milwaukee Makers Market

DISCOVERY WORLD

The Milwaukee Makers Market is bringing together over 50 local businesses and vendors for “Milwaukee’s Official Shop Small Saturday.” It’ll be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission to the event is free.
