2. Milwaukee’s Best Bloody
SUNDAY FROM 11:30 A.M. TO 2:30 P.M. | 3RD ST. MARKET HALL
Bartenders from around the Milwaukee area are competing for the title of Best Bloody at the 14th annual Milwaukee’s Best Bloody contest. The day will feature bloodys, appetizers and chasers and you get to judge your favorites. Tickets include unlimited Bloody Mary samples, beer chasers, appetizers and a chance to vote. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation. Tickets are available for purchase online and this event is 21+ only.
3. Walking Tour: Milwaukee’s Black Heritage
SATURDAY FROM 2 P.M. TO 3:30 P.M. | FOREST HOME CEMETERY
Local history enthusiast Sara Wong is guiding participants through Milwaukee’s Black history. Dating back to the early 1800s, the Black community played a role in shaping the city’s development, culture and identity into what it is today. This walk is one and a half miles and participants are advised to dress for the weather. This event is suitable for all ages and tickets are available online.

4. Artist Talk: Willie Cole
THURSDAY FROM 6:15 P.M. TO 7:15 P.M. | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
Willie Cole is an American sculptor, printmaker, designer, perceptual engineer and visual artist from New Jersey. Cole is known for taking everyday objects and turning them into striking sculptures and installations covering themes of consumer culture, heritage and identity. The artist talk is included with admission and free for members.
5. Cosmic Country Showcase Featuring: Jonny Fritz and The Flying Objects
THURSDAY AT 7:00 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
The cult-hit otherworldly Cosmic Country Showcase is headed to the Cactus Club this Thursday. The show mixes Americana musicians with drag, comedy and stunt performance to make the show truly one of a kind. The show is all ages and tickets are available online for $20 or at the door for $25.
6. Milwaukee Roast Championship Round Two
THURSDAY AT 7:30 P.M. | MILWAUKEE IMPROV
It’s time for the second round of Wisconsin’s spiciest comedy competition. This Thursday, comedians from across the state will go head to head in hopes of progressing to the semi-finals on March 25. Each show features special guest judges and surprise appearances. This show is 21+ and tickets are available online.
7. Avenue Q
ALL WEEKEND AT VARIOUS TIMES | BOMBSHELL STUDIO THEATRE
The Tony Award-winning show Avenue Q is opening this weekend at the Bombshell Studio Theatre. The show follows Princeton as he moves to a run down neighborhood in New York and meets his neighbors (both human and puppet). Adulthood is messy, but it’s a lot more fun with friends by your side. This show contains strong language, mature humor and sexual content and is recommended for ages 16+. Tickets are available online.
8. Wax and Tracks: Sneaker Candle Painting Experience
FRIDAY FROM 6 P.M. TO 9 P.M. | THE AMANI PLACE
The Amani Place is celebrating Black History Month with an immersive paint experience. Guests will paint a sneaker shaped candle while old-school hip-hop plays. After painting, a Black History Month themed trivia will be hosted. Tickets include a candle, all painting supplies, a beverage and trivia. This event is 21+ and tickets are available online.
9. Yonder Mountain String Band

Nederland Bluegrass group Yonder Mountain String Band is bringing original songs inspired by people, places and experiences to the Cooperage. Showcasing their 11th studio album Nowhere Next, the sound is a mix of bluegrass, rock, country and funky grooves. This event is 21+ and tickets are available online.
10. Kid Boogie Down’s Taylor Swift Dance Party

Calling all Swifties: Kid Boogie Down is hosting a kid-friendly Taylor Swift dance party this Saturday. DJ Lukewarm is spinning all of her top hits complete with a lights, lasers and bubbles show. Admission price for children ages 1 to 17 is $12 and $6 for adults. Admission is sold at the door only.
11. Milwaukee Black Business Expo 2026

Shop local this weekend at the Black Business Expo. This event features products, services and talents from the fashion space, food, tech, beauty and more. Admission is free and the event is fit for all ages.
12. WinterBreak
SATURDAY FROM 12 P.M. TO 3 P.M. | HAVENSWOOD STATE FOREST
Though spring still seems a while away, that doesn’t mean you have to stay indoors. The WinterBreak festival invites you to get outdoors with the community with bonfires and fun outdoor activities like bird watching, fat tire biking and more. Indoor activities are also available. The event is free to attend and open to all ages.
13. Financial Vision Board Party

Join the staff at MPL to design your money goals. The class will lead participants through creating a vision board, setting goals and visualizing a path to success. The vibes are chill and judgment free. The class is free to attend and takes place at the Mitchell Street Branch.

15. Grace Music Academy Celebrates 100 Years of Black History

Honoring 100 years of Black history, Grace Music Academy is hosting a night of performances celebrating the heritage and contributions of the Black community through history. Tickets for this event are $20 and all proceeds go to the academy. Tickets can be purchased online and this event is fit for all ages.
16. MKE Prom Ladies Night Out: A Galentine’s Night
SATURDAY FROM 7 P.M. TO 10 P.M. | THE IVY HOUSE
Get together with your gals and head to MKE Prom at the Ivy House. The dress code is “chic prom glam,” aka anything that makes you feel fabulous. The night will include photo opportunities, two complimentary drinks, a cash bar, dancing, treats and eats and more. All of the net proceeds will go to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, a non-profit dedicated to providing diapers and period supplies to families across the country. 18. Crochet for Beginners

Sabrina from Creative Bean MKE is helping you learn how to crochet this Sunday. Practice stitches, chains, tension and more as you make your first creation. Hooks and yarn will be available for purchase for $5 or participants are welcome to bring their own supplies. A 5mm hood and light-colored yarn are recommended for this class. General admission starts at $10 and tickets can be purchased online. This class is fit for all ages.
