2. Free Family Hands-On Art at RAM
FRIDAY FROM 4-7 P.M. | RACINE ART MUSEUM
Racine Art Museum kicks off its first family hands-on art project. This event is recurring every first Friday of the month from August until December. Attendees are granted free access to the museum from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and families are encouraged to participate in the free art activity inspired by the current exhibitions later in the day.

3. The Sonder Bombs

Grab a Cactus Club seasonal cocktail and jam out to local Milwaukee garage rock band Barley Civiland and Chicago’s Girl K. They’re sharing the space with Cleveland indie-rock and pop band The Sonder Bombs.

6. Racine Cardboard and Boat Race

The 11th-annual Cardboard and Boat Race at the Harbor Lite Club encourages locals to craft their own boats, racing against friends and family. Take part in a creative challenge by building your boat on site and with only duct-tape and cardboard before the race begins! Entertainment, food and beverages will be available.
7. Firefly Art Fair
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-5 P.M. | 7406 HILLCREST DRIVE, WAUWATOSA
Enjoy food and drink from iconic Wauwatosa gems like Cuppa Tosa and Jojo’s Martini Lounge at the Firefly Art Fair. The two-day fair will feature fine art pieces from over 65 artists, the Lefeber family photographic glass plate collection and more.
8. Cream City Vintage Fest

Over 200 vendors will be at Cream City Vintage Fest at the Baird Center. The one-day pop-up flea market event will host the largest collection of vintage clothing, jewelery and handmade goods in Wisconsin.
9. Root Beer Bash

Glendale, aka the “Root Beer Capital of the Universe,” is hosting its 6th-annual free family-friendly event at Bayshore. The Bash will feature a root beer float giveaway, a kid boogie down dance party, a petting zoo, balloon artists and more.
10. Black Arts Fest MKE

Black Arts Fest celebrates the deep roots of African heritage and the creativity of Black cultural arts in Milwaukee and beyond. Enjoy music, poetry, art, food, dance and more at this fun-filled multi-generational festival.
11. “Make It Take It” Waukesha Art Crawl

This “Make It Take It” art crawl will feature over hundreds of artisans across 20 art galleries and showplaces on the downtown streets of Waukesha. Discover artisan treasures, shop boutiques, indulge in food and drinks and more at this free event.
12. Wisconsin IPA Fest
SATURDAY FROM 2-5 P.M. | THIRD SPACE BREWING
Third Space Brewing’s beer garden will have IPAs made by over 40 breweries from all over the state. This event will not only give beer-lovers the chance to experience IPAs from all over Wisconsin, but will also offer some friendly competition to crown 2023’s Best Wisconsin IPA. This is a ticketed event.
13. Studio Ghibli Fest

Marcus Theatres is hosting Studio Ghibli Fest until November. The film series line-up kicks-off this weekend with academy-award Princess Mononoke, a nostalgic breathtaking story about nature and humanity.
14. Gaudy Streets: A Vintage And Handmade Pop-up
