1. Bay View Gallery Night  

FRIDAY FROM 5-10 P.M. | SOUTH KINNICKINNIC AVEUNE 

This event focuses on bringing local businesses and artists together all throughout Bay View, mostly concentrated around South Kinnickinnic Avenue. You can listen to some Electro Funk music whilst painting your own art at the Voyageur Book Club, enjoy an artist fair with a live DJ or screen print your own T-shirt at Lion’s Tooth. Check the interactive map to see the full list of events and where the storefronts are located.  

2. Andrew Sean Greer in Conversation With Liam Callanan 

FRIDAY AT 6:30 P.M. | BOSWELL BOOK COMPANY

Author Andrew Sean Greer will be visiting Boswell Book Company, with his new book Less is Lost, a sequel to his previous Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Less. This follow up focuses on the main character, Arthur Less, travelling the American landscape after a financial setback and the death of his ex-lover. Greer will be discussing with Liam Callanan, a local Milwaukee novelist, about his book in this ticketed event.

3. 71st Fall Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association Show & Sale 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT 10 A.M. | WAUKESHA COUNTY EXPO CENTER  

Looking for decorative antiques or vintage collector’s items?  The Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association will be holding their 71st annual show featuring 58 antique dealers from eight states. Free parking is available.  

4. Taste of Oktoberfest

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 5-8 P.M. | PABST MANSION MILWAUKEE  

Take a guided tour of the historic Pabst Mansion that includes samplings of German delicacies and beverages. The event will include live German music as well. Tickets have limited availability.  

5. Family Free Day  

SATURDAY FROM 9:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M. | MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO 

The Giraffe Experience and Don’s Dragon Kingdom exhibits of the Milwaukee County Zoo will be leaving after this upcoming Saturday. Good news is that all visitors to the zoo will receive free admission on that day. 

6. Hip Hop DNA 

SATURDAY AT 7:30 P.M. | WILSON THEATER AT VOGEL HALL  

Presented by Black Arts MKE, Hip Hop DNA is a showcase featuring dance and music which explores how hip-hop evolved over time and how it has been influenced by many different cultures. The showcase will be both educational and entertaining with performers from various nations coming together in this ensemble piece.  

7. The 2nd Annual Beerline Shuffle

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. | 3350 NORTH HOLTON STREET 

The Beerline Shuffle is returning this year with murals and music as well as community art projects, photo booths, yoga classes and scavenger hunts to participate in. The event is free but access to snacks and merchandise will cost $10 for children and $15 for adults.  

8. RadioMilwaukee’s 15th Birthday Celebration

SATURDAY AT 4 P.M. | 220 E. PITTSBURGH AVE.

RadioMilwaukee is celebrating their 15th birthday with food trucks, live music, local art and more. The event is free, open to the public and fun for people of all ages. There will be performances from Gego y Nony, Kia Rap Princess and more artists, and there will be art activations from local studios including Brush Box and Farmhouse Paint & Sip.

9. MKE Fine Craft Studio Tour 

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-5 P.M. | MILWAUKEE COUNTY  

This self-guided tour will take you to see 40 different independent artists all across Milwaukee County. The artists range from local furniture artisans, pottery makers and mixed media all of whom will be at their regular studio locations. Check out their map of the tour here. 

10. Brady Street Pet Parade & Art Walk 

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-4 P.M. | EAST BRADY STREET 

Bring your family and pets to Brady Street this Sunday to watch live art creations, listen to music and see the pet parade. You and your pet can even participate in contests such as best costume, pet/owner lookalike and trick with prizes available for whomever comes in first or second place.

11. Oktoberfest at Happy Day Farmhaus   

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-5 P.M. | HAPPY DAY FARMHAUS   

If you are looking for a less ceremonial Oktoberfest celebration, Happy Day Farmhaus will be hosting their commemoration in Germantown on a farm. Spend the day eating hand pies from Wauwatosa, buying pumpkins for your fall décor, listening to live music or playing a good game of Hammerschlagen.  

12. Bitchcraft Fair  

SUNDAY FROM 12 P.M TO 6 P.M | WISCONSIN CENTER 

Ever had an interest in the mystic arts? This event features local vendors, magic themed drinks and even workshops to improve your supernatural talents. Despite what the name may suggest, the event is kid-friendly, as children under the age of 10 receive free admission and can also show up in a costume to receive free items.
