1. Puerto Rican Festival of Wisconsin
SATURDAY AT 1 P.M. | HENRY MAIER FESTIVAL PARK
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month early at the Puerto Rican Festival of Wisconsin. Be one of hundreds of attendees celebrating the culture, music, food and more available at this day long party. Critically acclaimed salsa artist, Michael Stuart will be headlining the festival at 8 P.M., with many openers beforehand consisting of other salsa artists, DJs and more. This event is open to all.
2. 9/11 Memorial
FRIDAY FROM 2:00-8:30 P.M. | DAVIDSON PARK
Join the Milwaukee Fire Department in honoring the lives lost 25 years ago from the attacks on the twin towers. The MFD is looking to bring the community together to remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who passed away during the attacks and afterwards from 9/11 related diseases. All are welcome to come to the memorial service with the formal ceremony beginning at 2 P.M.
3. Argren Faire 2026
SATURDAY FROM NOON-8 P.M. | BLACK HUSKY BREWING
Explore this Riverwest renaissance faire hosted right on Locust Street. This free to attend faire takes up residence right outside Black Husky Brewing and co-hosted by Quizzical Spirit Press, with the brewery open to the public. Vendors, activities, food and more will be available for all attendees to indulge in throughout the day.

4. SHARP’S A Novel Event With Jacob Misiorowski
THURSDAY FROM 5-8 P.M. | AMERICAN FAMILY FIELD
Spend an evening with the Brewers’ star pitcher, Jacob “the Miz” Misiorowski. This event is a fundraiser for SHARP Literacy, a local non-profit focused on improving the educational opportunities for Milwaukee’s children. All are welcome to purchase tickets and to meet the star himself; VIP tickets are available as well to get an early hour with the Miz.
5. Line Dancing at the Cooperage
THURSDAY FROM 6-11:30 P.M. | THE COOPERAGE
Wear your cowboy hats and boots to learn how to line dance tomorrow night at the Cooperage. This select lesson is on a first come first served basis with space available for 150 dancers. Get there early to secure your spot for the lesson at 6:30 P.M. and stick around for a free dance for the rest of the night.
6. From Milwaukee With Love: Mixer and Craft Night

Presented by a new romance bookstore, the Well Read Damsel, this social mixer is the kickoff for the store’s new weekend long event: From Milwaukee With Love. This event is geared for romance book aficionados looking to meet likeminded individuals. There will be cocktails/mocktails, and arts and crafts available throughout the evening.
7. Back-to-Basics: DIY Shirt Workshop

Head on over to 414LORAL and learn how to make your very own shirt. Let your creativity flow with this guided workshop taught by local artists in the community. Explore a flower shop and learn a new skill this Friday.
8. China Lights
ALL WEEKEND FROM 5:30-10 P.M. | BOERNER BOTANICAL GARDENS
Check out the first weekend of the Boerner Botanical Gardens China Lights exhibit. This is a walking experience where attendees can lose themselves in the bright beauty of over 40 handcrafted lantern displays. With lanterns of dragons and unicorns amongst other legends coming alive. There will be live Asian folk performances, alongside food and beverages available on site.
9. In Shining Armour, Lana Leone, My Melody and Overhand
FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
Catch some local bands this Friday at the Cactus Club for a night full of great music. Headliners In Shining Armour are a storied indie rock duo playing an addictive rendition of 90s inspired indie rock music. With just one guitar and a drunk kit these two pack a punch with an extensive skillset and technical mastery of their respective instruments. Locals My Melody, have filled in Humid’s spot on the bill after the band recently dropped out of the show.
10. 43rd Annual Trimborn Farm Harvest of Arts and Crafts

The Milwaukee County Historical Society is celebrating local artisans and crafters at the historic Trimborn Farm this weekend. 11. Musical Petting Zoo
SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-2 P.M. | DISCOVERY WORLD
Presented by Keep Music Alive, this interactive family-friendly event is geared towards education through active participation. Get the chance to learn and play various instruments available on site to better understand the differences and nuances between instruments. This event is available to all general admission ticket holders at Discovery World.
12. Bikini Kill
SUNDAY AT 8 P.M. | TURNER HALL
The instigators of the Riot Grrrl movement are coming to Milwaukee this Sunday night for a bombastic night of punk rock. This band is legendary in American music history, getting their start as Olympia, Washington and thriving in D.C., with a focus on feminist fronted music. This show is history in the making, tickets are available here.
